It has been stated the Democrat if elected will place Republicans in their Administration. Where do you think those Republicans will be placed and what Republicans would be acceptable to "Liberals"?

6. In another time and place, sure, but could you hear the cries of how the Democratic Party is so weak
they needed a real Republican to bail them out, blah blah blah? I'm quite sure that we can find a capable SecDef from within our own ranks.

5. I can't name a specific Dept. but I think it would depend on the Pub.
Chuck Hagel's opinions make sense to me every time I hear him. Remember Webb used to be a Pub, but I think he's doing a great job as a Dem. Sen. from Va. All the Pubs aren't bad, but the big mouth majority of them make it seem like they are.

9. None, ideally
Modern Republicans are so corrupt, partisan, and willing to use the government as a wholly-owned susidiary of the RNC that I don't see how they could run anything efficiently.

Furthermore, since the central concept of Reaganism is that government should only exist to have police, courts, and the military they destroy any thing else with corruption, cronyism, and incompetence.

And all the old-school, Eisenhower-type Republicans are old. John Dean, for example, would probably be a pretty good guy, a pretty stand-up guy for the Attorney General or something, but he's getting up there!

No, nothing they can do. The GOP needs to spend about 15 years out of power, rediscovering and rebuilding themselves into something like the party of Eisenhower. PNAC, globalization, Reaganomics, the Religious Right, and neoconservativism needs to go. Then maybe they'd have a shot.

15. Great idea! Put the embassy's offices on one of the ice shelves...
...about to collapse and float away due to the climate change the GOP so vehemently denies existing.

That should make a believer out of them!

The GOP can stop lying with them and start putting them to better use.

20. None, nada, zero, zilch as a Secretary of or Dept Head
but I do like the idea of having a few, two or three links down the chain of command under direct control of the Democratic Appointee as a educational or learning situation. Perhaps they will learn what Government by the people and for the people is all about rather than their usual everything for their corrupt party and their corporate cronies.
