Dr. Michael DeBakey is advocating for Universal Healthcare on CSpan2

He is the recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor. It has just been awarded and the President & the Leadership of Congress is all there. He accepted the Medal, gave a thank you speech and a bit of an autobiography and just launched into a strong recommendation to adopt the VA model to a National Health Care plan.

The guy is in his 90's and no one will interrupt.

I have always had the highest degree of respect for Dr. DeBakey.
I think it just increased.

4. As long as it's universal "single payer" health care
Not one of these cockamamie plans that will force you to buy insurance from Big Insurance - -that's a recipe for disaster.
