I heard it on the radio yesterday, but don't recall seeing it here on DU.

If this is old nooz to everyone ..... sorry about that.

See what happens when you suck the right ass? What can be next? A Medal of Freedom? Nineteen virgins?

6. Why ??
I thought he was doing a great job in Iraq? Hmmmm... I wonder what was the reason?? The Commander of Centcom controls both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, right? And the Centcom commander controls the strategies for both countries. That means that he will have a big say in the military strategy of Iraq after Mr Bush is gone, if he stays on as Centcom commander. I hope the Democrats don't fall for that little trick.

8. Exactly! Bush is moving the military chess pieces into place
So they can obstruct, bullshit, and drag their feet as much as humanly possible to keep the troops in the Middle East, after the Dem win in November.

We'll be seeing quite a bit of *players* being moved into position. That, and the pukes in Congress will start bellowing about how the FISA Bill and any other renewal bill of Bush's MUST be voted on and passed BEFORE november.

The pukes are rolling up their sleeves, waiting for the final battle.

11. Admiral Fallon stood up to Bush and Cheney's rush to bomb Iran.
Edited on Thu Apr-24-08 09:49 AM by MilesColtrane
While Petraeus is on record as saying,"you cannot win in Iraq solely in Iraq,".

An elightening Esquire article on Fallon's command style, that predicted his getting the axe from BushCo™.

9. Bush has packed every corner of the government with incompetent stooges.
A bunch of gutless yes-men are now in charge of the Dept. of Defense.

It's going to take a long time to clean out all the mafia stooges if we ever take back the government.

Heckuva job, Pettie. Good job lying about Iraq. You'll go down the toilet of history with Westmoreland.

10. what worries me more is how Petreaus is doing the bidding
for cheney and bushie, for staging an attack on Iran. And Gates is in their corner to on this.

12. The reason should be obvious.
They are pushing for a war with Iran before they leave office. And our pant-suited candidate didn't help matters when she talked about 'obliterating Iran'.

I know people are thinking 'they wouldn't really do that'. But everything they've ever done, from pardoning Scooter, to the Iraq war, to torturing, has been a 'they wouldn't really do that' scenario.

Everybody opposed to the new war has left (Admiral Fallon for example) or been pushed out, replaced by toadies, and they've made their moves just this month in positioning themselves to begin the staging. All they need is the false flag and it's 2003 all over again.
