20. "already know" - On this principle, people already know they are "Saved" so why go to church?
On "credibility and legitimacy", if each and every person actually DOES matter, why throw the baby out with the bath water by surrendering Fux Olds to the royal aristocrats who own it and use it to OPPRESS millions? Are we supposed to just throw all of Fux Olds watchers away? How divisive of you!

:hi:

31. Actually, there are a lot of people who don't know how biased Fox
is or how badly they lie. I have several relatives who watch Fox, thinking their getting legitimate "news" and they take every word as gospel truth. They believe some bizarre things as a consequence.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. I think there should be disclaimers saying "For entertainment purposes only," before every Fox program. And a lot of programs on other networks as well.

10. Dr Dean's house call at FAUX Noise.
was a pleasure to watch. He did a hell of a job of inoculating those afflicted with Reptilian spin disease. Every Obama and Democratic Party slam Wallace threw at him he neutralized and turned back on him with something truthful and negative about McSame.

23. THAT's the main thing!!! Turn it back on them= Use their own words against right then and there.
Edited on Sun May-04-08 11:18 AM by patrice
On edit: Turn their own words against them WITHOUT personal insult = STICK to the VALUES/concepts inherent in what is being said to you. Refer to them as VALUES and talk about those and other Values.

19. It will be repeated on the FAUX Noize channel this afternoon
If you can force yourself to watch that channel. Not sure of the time... it used to be 3:00 PM on the West Coast. Wouldn't be surprised if it turned up on YouTube though.

13. That's probably why Howard never had a chance at the nomination
Besides the fact that (in his own words) "we didn't have the faintest
idea what we were doing," he spent way too much time speaking his mind
for his own good. As DNC chairman, he has nothing to lose by doing just
that, and the Gotcha Gang gets nowhere with him. He's smarter, better
prepared, and faster than they are. The bought-and-paid-for RW media
always loses when taking Howard head on. We always win when he gets
a chance to speak. I don't mind if Howard goes on Fox Noise. That way,
their mindless viewers get a chance to see what it is like to have a mind
of your own, and maybe a few of them will find the concept intriguing
enough to try it for themselves.

The Doctor is IN!

That's my rebel-yell and I had it a long time before I met good Dr. Dean (and used it frequently at concerts, sporting events and such), probably one of the reasons I recognized a kindred soul when I heard the "Dean Scream".

29. I'm not saying Howard wouldn't do it under any circumstances
But you'd have to do some serious arm-twisting to get him to run as VP,
and seriously? Who'd want to run for President with such a brilliant
intellect as VP? I'd be scared shitless that I'd be ignored and all attention
would be focused on my brainy, outspoken VP. I say, break with tradition and
keep Howard for another stint as DNC chairman (if he'll do it), so we can
not only win the White House this time, but consolidate our majority in Congress
in 2010 as well.

30. He's already said he not gonna do the DNC again... Draft Howard Dean
A VP that lets the President stay above the fray, I don't want a right wing DLC militarist Democrat
or a weak spokesperson as VP.

32. If Howard were the VP nominee.......
The Presidential nominee wouldn't just be above the fray, he or she would
be near invisible with Howard out there. I still fondly remember the days
when he was the phenomenon of the day, on the cover newspapers and magazines,
and the MSM hung on his every word. There hadn't been as much excitement back
home since Beatlemania.

said for the pResident, kind of "good cop, bad cop" but smarter.

34. That's what I'm going to be pulling for. Let's consolidate these organizing gains.
If Obama gets in, the 50 State Strategy will stay alive, so Dr. Dean could do something else, but if it's HC, we'll have to fight to keep him in the chair.

In either case, I'd prefer that he stay where he is in order to consolidate our gains. I HOPE it's okay with him.

Then we can be assured that they won't put a person who doesn't caare about winning in. Like Rhamm Emanuel or Steny Hoyer.

36. Howard Rocks !!
If he had not gone for the 50-state strategy, Hillary would have been the nominee already. She would have won NY, CA, FL, and PA and the race would have been over a long time ago. Of course, Obama deserves some credit also for putting the strategy into effect.
