Rice: Mideast peace deal possible by end of year

http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/meast/05/04/rice.olmert/index.html

RAMALLAH, West Bank (CNN) -- Laying the groundwork for President Bush's upcoming trip to the Middle East, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Sunday a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians can be reached by the year's end.

"This is very painstaking work ... it is labor-intensive work but it is necessary work," Rice said at a joint news conference with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

"We continue to believe that it is an achievable goal to have an agreement between the Palestinians and the Israelis by the end of the year and by the end of President Bush's term."

Rice met Saturday night and Sunday morning with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Her visit -- one of many she has made in recent months -- has been overshadowed by a police investigation into Olmert, who was questioned by police Friday.

4. Why is everything such "hard work" for them?

They have done nothing of worth and kept their eyes turned to evil the entire time.

The Hague please.

6. These are the same people, who...
...interfered with successful negotiations when they assumed office, come in after Jimmy Carter got Hezbollah to the table and now they're going to try to take credit?

Yeah, that sounds about Republican.

7. I will believe this when it actually happens.
After all the lies we have been told it is impossible to believe anything from anyone in
the Busholini Regime.

8. The GOP will achieve this "success" the same way they achieve all their "successes"...
...by lying.

We are in a recession, but the GOP-controlled media will say the recession started under the next administration (but only if they don't steal it for Old Man Baldy McSame).

Iraq and Afghanistan are monumental failures, militarily and diplomatically, but no one in the GOP-controlled media will dare ever say those words. At least not until January 21, 2009.

The list goes on...
