I'm pretty pissed at my State "Democrat" party

our state party put up a new website with a store on it, so I went to check out what kind of Democratic swag I could pick up.

Every stinking thing they sell is for the "Democrat" party, not the DEMOCRATIC party

I like the new website and checked out the store for goodies but was dismayed and a little upset to find "Vote Democrat" and "God bless the Democrat Party"

the Republicans have been using the word "Democrat" as a slam, we are not the Democrat party, we are the Democratic party! I don't know who you had do the graphics, but I think they made an bad error!

I called HQ on another matter and said something about it, they said they didn't run the store but had noticed the foul up and were going to address it, we'll see how that goes

I live in a heavily Hispanic and Asian part of town and those signs are spelled correctly (well, at least the Chinese ones) in their own languages.

The signs in honky parts of town all have apostrophes before the "s" in plurals, gross misspellings, and every other grammatical sin you can imagine.

I blame it all on so many people having English as a second language, especially the Texans who moved here.

I've heard your show on Nova M, and before that, I heard you many times on Mike Malloy's show.

I think people here may not realize who you are. Are you able to start a thread yet? If not, let me or someone else here know (I don't post much anymore), so a thread introducing you can be started.

I would also urge you all to tune in to his show on Sundays on Nova M. He brings light to issues related to hurricane Katrina, which just about no one else is covering in the media these days.
