Bush 41 salutes Sun Myung Moon's effort to subdue the planet.
read it an weep...

http://www.talk2action.org/story/2008/5/6/6440/76200

Sun Myung Moon's end time political front, the Universal Peace Federation had a summit from April 28 to May 2 in Washington DC. The participants took a tour of the Moon owned Washington Times and chartered a plane to go visit George H. W. Bush's library. Once again, George 41 gave a keynote address in support of Moon's efforts.

John Solomon, the new executive editor of the Washington Times who told C-span viewers recently that the paper does not push Moon's agenda, made an appearance at one function apparently hosted by the paper. (see slide show link below)

Brent Scowcroft and former congressman Earl Hillard also showed up to help Moon subdue the planet.

...lots more at the link...lots more...

2. nothing
and I, like you I know, do hope all this doesn't turn into a witch hunt on anyone who is Korean.

That said, imo, of all that we do know about Moon, I suspect, it is only about 5% of what has gone on behind the scenes.

Like this kind of thing...

Mr. (Gary) Jarmin pioneered the development of grass-roots political organizing techniques in the churches which many organizations emulate today.

4. there is NO proof of that
that I am aware of...unless someone has some evidence of it I think the speculation is a distraction. There is too much out there that can be found and is documented to bring up things that are not documented. Not saying to not ask questions and look but until then it is a distraction and frankly racist. Do you think it would be suggested were it not that Yoo is Korean although I can understand the interest since he is such an authoritarian sob like Moon. Fact is, at least until recently, most Korean citizens have a much healthier, grounded view of Moon than we do here. When our congressman were honoring him - Koreans were shunning him.

Sadly, conservatives have given Moon so much face the rest of the world now has to deal with him. If Reagan had told Republicans not to bow to the Washington Times and stood up to Moon, imo, Moon would have whithered on the vine. Of course then the Republican Party as we know it today would not exist or have ever come to power in its current form....

I think we need to get over the hurdle of making our fellow Americans aware of the facts before we go elsewhere. Didn't mean for this come off as a scold. But again there is way too much people don't know that is true without clouding things up with chatter. In ways, I think Moon's crowning is a distraction. Makes people think he is just a clown, and people don't feel the need to worry about clowns.

6. Look, I am not saying to keep ones eyes closed
but I haven't seen one legit piece of evidence that Yoo is a moonie. Sure he is a torture loving fascist rat bastard Constitution breaking jackass but the "opus dei-moonie-Mormon" axis crap is silly. Beyond silly. The moonies and Morons get along because they see each other as "persecuted."

I do not doubt that Moon has seeded his followers in a lot of places but I still think that this is a distraction that absent ANY REAL proof just sets back people ever understanding what a threat Moon really is.

Seriously, why not get people to understand what we actually do know before we go off pushing "allegedly" stuff from new World Order sites that afford one no credibilty.

One more time, I am not saying don't turn every damn rock you find over but how about a source worth quoting first.

8. I'll take "torture loving fascist rat bastard Constitution breaking jackass" anyway.
Thanks for the perspective. I simply had never thought about that possibility before. Now it's in my head, and I can't un-remember it.

7. Primero Uruguay. Entonces Paraguay.

Then-Paraguayan president Nicanor Duarte (L) meets Neil Bush (R), younger brother of US President George W. Bush, and South Korean Hyun Jin Moon (C), third son of Unification Church founder Sun Myung Moon, at the presidential palace in Asuncion, on February 28, 2008. Bush is in Paraguay with a delegation of the Federation for Universal Peace, headed by South Korean reverend Sun Myung Moon.
