McCain will end up like Bob Dole
He's doing a good job of showing what an out of touch old fuddydud he really is. I think up against a charismatic, young candidate with well thought out policies like Barak Obama McCain doesnt stand a chance.

3. I remember watching Dole and his wife back during his run for the WH...
They were shopping at a grocery store. Looked like they had never been in one at all. She was wearing an expensive dress suit and had huge hair. Dole was in his sharp suit as well.

They looked totally out of touch. I remember thinking they didn't have a clue. To me...they lost the election because of that botched photo op.

10. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN: don't underestimate McCain
As inept a candidate that Bob Dole was, remember that Ross Perot was also runing in '96. If Perot's votes would have gone to Dole, we would have been in the same nearly 50-50 mess of the 2000 and 2004 campaigns.

McCain seems like a rather lifeless candidate, as did Bob Dole. He is not particularly inspiring or charming. He gets iritated easily. He is not a good speaker. But at to this point the media has given him a free ride, and endlessly hammered Obama for weeks now. Hopefully, this won't continue, but if it does, I expect the election to be close, despite the overwhelming desire for change in the nation.

(Here, is something else to consider...Jimmy Carter barely beat Gerald Ford after Watergate. Point is, a tight presidential election is not all that unlikely.)

11. Very true ab Carter/Gerald Fraud
I think we should take McCain deadly serious. The Right Wing media echo chamber is what we hve to worry about. I just think anyone who thinks this is hopeless needs to step back and see the strength of candidacy we have in Obama. We wont do anything without confidence.

12. One can only hope. However, given the condition of the various aspects of our nation
such as the unchanging nature of the Toady Media (and if you think the Corporate Execs at ABC were shamed or even bothered by the complaints of us Filthy Little Nobodies over that sad carnival circus of nonsense they called a debate; if you think theya re going to deviate from that template even ONE IOTA, no matter how many of us Inferiors complained, then I am afraid you have not been watching Imperial Amerika or it's Toady Media very closely these last 20 years), leads me to believe this is very unlikely.

What is likely, though it pains me to no end to say it, that Mccain will be our next Emperor after the October Surprise and the Phony Election.

All the Bushies have to do is get it within their margin of theft, which means all McCain has to do is lose the actual vote tallies by less than 10% to gain a "win".

The Toady Media as usual working in concert with the Bush Lie Machine (either willingly or unwittingly) is helping immenseley to "catapult the Bushie propaganda", as they always do.

The same boring dumbshow as 2000 and 2004, likely with the same predictable outcome. "McBushie defies odds in miracle comeback WIN!!!!"

I hope you are right and I am wrong about this, but it seems unlikely.
