1. has it ever been a phillippe sands day!

first, i read his article in vanity fair. but that was a month ago almost. today: i watched him testify to congress. after that i watched his interview with bill moyer. then i watched the beyond the torture debate. finally, i fell asleep listening to his interview with amy goodman, and dreamt about it. interesting dream.

if i'm any indication, this guy is getting some coverage. let's just hope something comes of it. certainly i will buy and read his book.

This is 10 times more serious than Watergate, in terms of criminality.
But it has no traction.

To add: The show I saw was an interview of Mr. Sands and much more indepth than that youtube video. I haven't looked at the cspan site, but they may have the video of that interview on their site. It would be well worth your time to watch if it's there.

5. Don't forget to watch that video. Sands is balanced and well informed in his

approach, His censure of the Bush administration is more effective than all the emotional posts that we on DU write put together.
