The fart chart. How cows are hurting our environment.
Eating less meat and using less dairy products might be the responsible thing to do.

Fort the chart, go here:

http://www.milkprocon.org/cow_emissions_table.html

The emissions released by cows during milk production may be creating enough environmental pollution to negatively affect human health which is why we've decided to include dairy cow emissions in our research into Milk ProCon.org's core question "Is drinking milk healthy for humans?"

The chart below contains the number of dairy cows in the U.S. in 2001 and the estimated state by state dairy cow emission levels for chemicals that have been studied for their role/s in contributing to air and water pollution, negative human health effects, and/or global warming.

I've even lifted my lifelong ban on trail mix and have a few ounces for dinner each night.

5. I quit beef 4.5 years ago, and been the better for it ...
... not only does the beef industry contribute to global warming, it increases oil depletion, and exhausts grain supplies, which are decreasing already.

6. We just need to fit their asses with filters
Or kill em a little younger, maybe 1 week earlier than normal - think about how many less farts we would have to put up with over time.

19. Actually, this is CH4 produced from cow *manure* in an anaerobic digester ...
considerably easier to collect manure than flatus.

Interesting Web site, though!

(Now you've got me thinking about ways to trap CH4 from dairy air ... hmmm ... hmmm ... )
