Is "Morning Joe" better without Joe Scarborough?
Edited on Thu May-15-08 10:37 AM by kentuck
Joe has not been on the show all week. Mika has been running the show with help from Pat Buchanan and Willie Geist. Chris Mathews came on to help for a couple of days and nobody could get a word in edgewise. One wonders how long before Joe Scarborough shows up on FOX-TV? Just guessing, but it might be that MSNBC and Joe are having discussions about money? It's tough commuting from the "Redneck Riviera" of Florida to the bright lights of New York.

1. The USA would be better without him in it
but I wouldn't read a lot into his absence from the show this week. Even an assbite like joe is entitled to a vacation once in a while.

4. Great - there goes the whole thread!
Actually, I look forward to Joe's predictions: Mitt Romney will win Florida, Obama will lose Indiana AND North Carolina,... How would I find out what's not gonna happen?

6. I'm sorry ... I wasn't trying to ruin your thread.
I just can't stand the man.

Your observation's about his predictions are interesting. I never realized he always made the wrong choice. It could be fun to have him back, at least until November. :D

10. It's not MY thread. We're a democracy here.
Joe doesn't ALWAYS make the wrong prediction, but he's reliable enough that his predictions usually suffice to make me feel better about mine! "...at least until November." - works for me. :)

7. Funny you should ask...
I sleep with the TV on and usually it's on CNN. But when I wake in the morning, I cannot stand John Roberts and that repig harpy Kiran Chetry. So, this morning I changed it to Morning Joe, not that he's any better but at least he isn't Chetry. And, as I was watching Mika and Willie, I thought to myself how much better the show was without the dumbass Scarborough.

Hope MSNBC sees what I see.

9. I'm sure they're phasing him out
MSNBC is becoming the Obama network...which is good in a way. I'll still take them with a grain of salt but it's nice to see a liberal network for a change.

Just goes to show that it's all about the marketing groups for these 24 hour news channels. I wouldn't be surprised if you see more liberal fare on FOX.

the absence of Joe Scarborough. :)

12. Everything is better without Joe 'dead intern' Scarborough.
However, if Pat 'KKK' Buchanan subs, Mourning Joe will still suck.
