Having had two brain tumors removed in the past seven years, my heart goes out to Teddy
Kennedy. And unfortunately, the chances of the tumor regrowing are good. Knowing what Ted Kennedy will go through in the future, and knowing I too will require radiation treatments this year to (hopefully) stop the growth of my tumor, I can't tell you how saddened I am to hear his is malignant. My prayers, best wishes and hopes go out for him and the entire Kennedy family. He has been and always will be one of my heroes, and his time on Earth will be remembered as one of great accomplishment.

Well, I better not get a brain tumor because if I do, it will just have to stay there.
(Some people would argue that my brain itself is already a problem in this skull. :silly: )

My son had a "good" brain tumor removed five years ago. It was a scary experience but we were fortunate to know early-on that chances were high that all would be ok.

10. I know they called it a good tumor, but let's hope he stays tumor free
for the rest of his life. My first one showed up when I was48, so there is no rhyme or reason as to why they form. My Mom is 90 and still going strong, with no major health issues her entire life.

I am sure because of Senator Kennedy's age they ruled out any kind of surgery. It is just too dangerous at that point in his life. Hopefully, he will be with us to see the End of the Error in January.

Be well, and best wishes for you and your son. May he grow up as intelligent and wise as his parents.
