I have an issue and need some input...

Below, is an enewsletter I received form Brave New Films. It is how I received it with a LINK in the article. I reposted this on another forum and some fundi idiots are saying that I did not give credit to the author, I feel that sine the LINK to BNF is IN the article that should be sufficent, any with half a brain would got BNF.org and see it as I have posted it. You would think that not only should the LINK be enough, but there is also the last sentence that should make clear that I did not write the article.

Am I correct or am I missing something??

then it is confusing. It becomes obvious on reading that you are quoting, but you could have made it clearer. What I generally do is set off quoted material with some sort of marking, with my own text outside. Sort of lik this:

It seems to me that the default assumption is that everything in a message body is the author's own words, unless specified otherwise. That said, your freeper friends are a bunch of whiners...
