I was out in the yard here on Cape Cod this morning,
a beautiful sunny day, doing some trimming and about 11:20 a group of helicopters flew overhead, some marked for Boston news channels, undoubtedly heading for nearby Hyannisport and the return of Senator Ted Kennedy to the place he loves so much.

I said a little prayer for the good senator, and I hope he will be back in action soon, stronger than ever.

1. Poor guy can't get well without the entire world watching.
I woke up at 2 am this morning thinking about him and for the first time in a long time I prayed for someone other than myself.

2. I'm with you in spirit
My ancestors settled on the Cape around 1622, and, though I've never been there, I feel a tie to it. May Ted Kennedy find some peace amid the media frenzy.

3. Nice thought. I dearly love the Cape. Spent
all my summers in Welfleet from the time I was 5 until I was 18.

6. Wellfleet is beautiful. You must have had some terrific summers, as a kid there.
I moved to the Cape almost 3 years ago and love it here, in all its seasons.
