Two questions for you. Since December 2000, or 9/11/01, are there times when
you wished you'd been born long before you actually were?

Are there times when you were glad a loved one hadn't lived to see what was happening?

For me, yes for both.

I've taken to doing genealogy. Recently I've been reading the papers from my relative's areas and seeing what constituted "News" back then (mid-late 1800's so far).

2. It's added a strange consolation to the deaths of loved ones
I've lost friends and family during this period and found it strangely comforting to realize they didn't live long enough to see some of this stuff.

3. No and Yes
I'm satisfied with my current birth date, but I am glad that some of my loved ones are not here to see what has happened.
