Hmm, Edwards and gays, Edwards and gays, let's see...

Now, wasn't he the one (along with his running mate) who was blasted by the Right Wing for even MENTIONING that the Veep's daughter was a lesbian?

At the time, THAT was considered a "low blow" and "a disgusting tactic." Hey, imagine the outrage if Edwards had called Mary Cheney a "faggot"! They would have had him drawn and quartered!

So, according to Coulter, Romney, Guliani, and the others at the CPAC, using the most demeaning language imaginable in reference to gay people is perfectly acceptable--as long as a Democrat is targeted. But don't you DARE reference the gays who happen to be rich, well-connected, and Republican!

That's just unseemly.
