Who's worst..... Wright or Hagee ?

I can't blame Wright for being angry but Hagee, well that's just plain stupidity!

They are men whose concentrations are on the Gospel and getting the word out in their limited spheres of influence, which does not cross over or interfere with politics or government policy. They are presenting themselves as ministers, not as John Q. Citizen.

using his political clout and wars...sorry they are NOT equal!

Wright will curse at you but Hagee will curse you to hell.

Hagee lives in a hell and wishes for the rest of the World to join him. Wright.... not even close.

In an effort to carry out that weird, scary ending of the Bible. Really, he thinks the Iraq War is a holy war and part of the "divine prophecy". :eyes:

I mean I do understand the brownophobic Pukes are trying to use him the scare the bejesus out of the white folks but in and of himself Wright seems to be overall a pretty darn decent human being to me.

McSame's other religious endorser--sorry "spiritual advisor"--Rod Parsely, is another fundagelical dominionist wackaloon who wants us to attack Iran because he believes the US was founded at least in part to eradicate Islam (or as he calls it, "this false religion").

ETA: I saw Wright on Bill Moyers' Journal and he's nothing like the wild-eyed America-hater the MSM would have all of us believe he is. In fact, I'm not religious at all but I found myself agreeing with a lot of what he said. Lumping him in with someone like Hagee is deeply unfair to Wright, imho.

Rev. Wright is an intelligent, learned man. In a sane and just world, Obama would not have had to denounce him. Unfortunately, we're living in a country ruled by a murderous, malignant, bunch of thugs who will seize on any opportunity to destroy anyone who speaks the truth.

I saw Rev. Wright on Bill Moyers' Journal. I also listened to his "Goddamn America" sermon in it's entirety. It was titled, "Confusing God and Government". I find nothing of any consequence in that sermon to quarrel with. What he was saying, among other things, was (Cliff Notes version) that the rabid nationalism that infests this country is like elevating your government to the status of a god, and that's idolatry. A sin, I think.

In his "chickens come home to roost" sermon, I remember him saying that we were so angry over 9/11 (a CheneyBush production, IMHO) that we retaliated by killing babies. I'm angry about that, too. He also said, in substance, that actions have consequences, and as America perpetrates evil around the world, how can we be surprised when the "chickens" come home to roost. What is the problem with that?

Pastor(sic) Hagee, on the other hand, is a hateful, viscious, fundie whacko nutjob. He preaches nothing but hate. His subtext is that when Jesus returns, all Jews who do not accept him as their Lord and Savior will be destroyed. What a repugnant idea! He's ugly outside as well as inside.

But if Death were to ask me who should be taken first, I would suggest Hagee. ;)

nutjob who wants to see all of us who aren't his narrowly-defined type of Christans dead, so Wright would have a significant way to go to be equivalent.

There's a BIG difference between the two. Only one of these men is dangerous and it ain't the black one...
