workplace now and in the near future?

1. Depends on your field of work
But you really can't go wrong with Spanish.

Hindi or Bengali.

Spanish will be useful as well.

look into forensic accounting. There will be lots of untangling to do re; all the fraud and theft over the last 8 years.

5. Here in Texas, definitely Spanish!
People of Hispanic descent are now in the majority in our state. While most of them learn English, some don't. But either way, the best way to learn a language is to use it so it's nice having people around who speak the language you're trying to learn.

After 8 years of Bush's stammering, incoherent fragments, I think the American workplace would do well to reacquaint itself with the native tongue.

In this hemisphere, Spanish would be extremely useful to know.
