Found one glaring omission from RECOUNT so far
The movie failed to note that FOX News consultant Greg Ellis (and first cousin of George W. Bush) was the first one to call the election for Bush, causing the other networks to reverse course.

Any thoughts?

1. I noticed that too. They also portrayed Katherine Harris putting her makup on in front of a MIRROR.

4. I'm watching it right now, what bothers me is that it took an hour & 10 min...
... to bring up the Republican's pre-election purge of registered black voters. They did it with a representative example -- the black minister prevented from voting because his name was close to that of someone who'd been convicted of a felony -- and then the number they gave to quantify that crime was only 20,000. (Greg Palast says it was 98,000.)

...But there's still 15 minutes to go, for the big question -- who are they going to say really won the actual vote total?

Most Americans are still convinced Bush got more votes in Florida than Gore, in 2000. Did Al really win, after all, even after all the banana republic/third world/gestapo tactics manipulation of the vote tabulation?

6. Did the movie ever ID the "Brooks Brothers rioters" as Republican insiders?
IIRC, some resourceful DUers were the first to "out" these rabble-rousers.

9. I noticed the same thing
I didn't know the specific person who called it, but I knew Fox had called it first.

10. I never understood why that fact is anything other than a side show
The networks calling it for bush or not had nothing do with the **reality** of what was going on. Had they not called it for bush when they did, would we now have a president Gore?

(Not arguing with you ..... I just never got why anyone cares who called it first on Faux Snooze, apart from the irony of it.)
