For those who read right wing boards occasionally
have you noticed the tone of the posts getting angrier as the election gets closer?

I tend to read a few sites every few days or so and browse the posts, occasionally I listen to right wing radio while in the car for like 4-5 minutes at a time, (as much as I can stand), just to get a little perspective of what will seep up from the sewer to the main stream media later on (via the right wing talking heads) and the tone of the posts has been getting angrier and meaner and it looks like it's only going to get worse and worse, imo.

3. The beauty of bluster is that people start tuning it out
I think that there's a decided division between conservatives and progressives but the problem for both sides is that because of the indecision (McCain v. Paul v. Barr and Clinton v. Obama). It's sort of a circular firing squad where no one knows exactly where to aim.

4. They are not getting angrier or meaner.
they are like that all the time. The mask they wear has slip off to the side a little.

9. Awww, it that too bad :)
I love it when they get all indignant and feel victimized. I get banned from conservative sites too quickly to play the deep-cover pinko game any more, they figure me out way too fast to have fun, otherwise I'd do my part to help split and wreck Republican unity. Hey, if all you had was McCain you'd be pissed off, too.

10. I don't read the boards....
Edited on Tue May-27-08 03:50 PM by susankh4
but I occasionally flip my XM to RW talk.... just to see what they are saying.

Today they are much more hateful of Hillary, which gives me great hope. Cuz, they only hate those they fear. The fear factor is all they know....

12. Some are, some are not
The usual winguts are getting nuttier but not the moderates who are tuning everything out.

Of course on a right wing Catholic board I am on while politics is banned, they sure are pushing the abortion and gay marriage issue with endless threads and a few threads attacking everyone who is not totally "orthodox".

13. Must be a mix of frustration and desperation.

They know their party is going down the crapper like there's no tomorrow.

I suppose we really ought to thank Dumbya .... nah ... piss on him.
