18. thought about you when I flew into DFW recently

the plane was delayed by weather and it was dark when we boarded so after takeoff pretty much all the passengers fell asleep - just outside of DFW the pilot made some kind of incredible banging noise through the intercom telling us all we had to wake up for landing - it sounded like a baton in a metal garbage can - I thought I was back in basic training. I wondered if you ever woke up a plane load of people like that. :D

Rove and Libby - he claims so was Bush, that's a tough one to contemplate.
I at this point will see him interviewed with KOlberman, and will read his book. Will make a final personal judgment after that.
I felt that toward the end he KNEW he was lying, but in the beginning I felt he was just out of his depth in the job.

I could not stand watching him.
