I'm finding it fascinating....there seems to be a Rumsfeld type, a Colin Powell type who did bad and are trying to cover up...It's also well done. I read the book easily 20 plus years ago.

1. Right. It's great. History repeats itself even if it's fiction!

4. I dare say it is an improvement of an old classic
And the first movie was good.

3. I will not contribute one nickel to that asshole Michael Crichton
I won't even watch reruns of Jurassic Park on the off chance he might get a royalty.

5. It's cheesy but good and scary.
And well modernized.

7. "I'm not going to go and attack a country based off of flimsy intelligence"
I believe the President said something like that in the first movie. But honestly, that ending really kind of pissed me off.

9. A few parts were really, really poorly done for the sake of finishing the movie *spoilers*

Deep Sea bacteria being cultivated and grown in large vats within hours? Sure, why not.

Deep sea bacteria found only around sea vents being sprayed into the normal air and in full contact with our atmosphere as well as light and surviving? Sorry, that one was just too much for me.

Other things I could accept as "just a movie" story-telling, but that just drove me nuts.
