Please help me Unfreep this poll on the CT minimum wage increase
The Republic governor of CT just vetoed increasing the minimum wage in CT from $7.65 an hour to $8.25. The question is, should the legislature override?

It is 30% yes now, let's try to flip the number to 70% yes.

The poll is in the middle of the page.

1. What the hell is wrong with people? The respondants to that
poll REALLY don't want their minimum wage earners to make more money? What the fuck? God damn people are stupid.

3. The governor & big business have been giving this the full court press
last time around, she signed a big increase in the minimum wage after it sailed through the legislature...

it surprised her fellow Republics and business leaders.

However, this time, the Republics and big business were ready.

7. We're catching up. 41% to 59% just now when I voted.
It is sad that people look down on the poor, as if their gain somehow reduces the amount of money available to everyone else. I am disappointed in my fellow Nutmeggers...

Up to 46% to 54% now.

I hope the legislature overrides the veto. We certainly have a big enough Dem majority.

12. Not in the Senate
we lost the super-majority there earlier this year in a special election. So, we need 1 Republic vote if all the Dems vote to over-ride.

in the afternoons from 3-6.

and, they have some guy on the weekends that helps people become more "green"

However, other than that, it is RWers - Dunaway in the morning, Vicevich from 10-12, Rush, and they have Hannity at night.

Born and raised in CT. I go back regularly to visit family.

Who the (piggy piggy word) can live on 7.65 an hour in CT? Certainly no one that's want to live in an apartment alone... and have heat and electricity and perhaps a meal now and then.
