LOL!!! LMAO!!! Shocking! They're ALL shocked. Just Shocked!!!
McClellan gave no indication that he was going to write a tell all book about the misdeeds, lies, calculations, secrecy, vitriol, wrong-headedness, stupidity, criminality of the White House. Shocking! This shock comes from criminals of every stripe. The media looks like... how should I put this... STUPID... in the way they are reporting this event... Come on reporters... drum up the tension. Make this Exciting! Breaking... Scott McClellan wrote a book... about what is obvious... to every person who lived through the last 7 years of this administration. LOL!!!! I'm reeling with excitement...

As if the white house was (LOL) never secretive, didn't lie us into a war, didn't step all over the constitution, didn't tar and feather any dissenters, didn't mishandle Katrina, didn't rip the American people off, didn't unearth the identity of a CIA officer, pile more lies upon lies, didn't use the media to disseminate it's propaganda. Everyone from the white house to the Media has become a comedian. Not funny, ha ha... just funny.

And the media says (in high-minded fashion) "what do bloggers who sit in their basements um... blogging... know about news". Go get your flag pin from China, Stephie! Swallow the bitter pill that you were wrong about the Clinton's running the table on Obama, Matthews! Don't ask anymore questions about how we got into this war, ABC, CBS, NBC. Stay true to your right wing criminality FAUX.

King Kong media... has lost it's grip and it's bite... on reality.

L 0 L

Guess what, MSM... Bloggers who really want to inform us know more than you want to admit. Yes and now that Scott McClellan (another LIAR) has told PART OF THE TRUTH about the Washington LIE squad, you think we can't tell you're pretending to be surprised. Shocked!!!! Who knew?!!!! It was quite a surprise. Didn't see that comin'!

Media... We ARE laughing at you because you think you just pulled the wool over EVERYONE'S Eyes. You think everyone will continue to fall for your con job? You guys are such bad actors. Every last one of you.

White House... We saw your fake outrage a mile away two months ago when McClellan slipped and told us how you orchestrated the outing of a CIA officer. Rove... biggest liar anyone has EVER HAD TO LISTEN TO. All so Shocking!

L O L

You, and "you know who you are" all of you... are so...! Shocking! LOL! LMAO!

No! You're All so.................. PATHETIC!

Maybe the payoff check BushCo cut for him bounced. There's no greater fury than a conman who's been conned.

29. About that graph in your sig line ...
"My father rode a camel. I drive a car. My son flies a jet airplane. My grandson will ride a camel." This is as near a quote as my memory allows, from a Saudi Arab who knew enough not to be fooled.

8. Who knows what made them decide that human life was less important than the money
they could make or the power they could attain? All of them need their heads examined. I think the Neo-cons are dangerously mental from the get-go.

 With that in mind, I would suggest they start doing the news in the nude, it's been apparent for years to the American People, the Emperor in Chief hasn't been wearing any clothes, they might as well join in and this could kick their ratings up.

14. One of the most embarrasing chapters in the history
of American journalism... Katie Koric - Situation Room CNN May 28/08.

Seen all of the * shills over the past several years, Fleischer, McLellan, Snow and Perino in collaboration with the MSM. Only McLellan's body language ever appeared to me to be at odds with his statements during press briefings. Among this crew Lewis Carroll looks like one of the world's greatest historians.

17. I'm glad you said it, because I've always thought the same thing
I always thought McClellan was the weakest press secretary for this administration because he was so bad at lying. He never looked comfortable with it.

Ari was the master and Tony was a close second.

21. absolutely... anyone who is shocked that McClellan would write this book is delusional.
Of all of the press secretary's he couldn't keep his lies straight. The media and the white house are pretending. And Scott is lying about Bush being misled. There is Scotty again... lying and conflating lies with the truth. But someone will believe everything he says... Those are other neo-cons. they actually believe the lies they tell... to each other?

20. so i gather the msm's take on the tell all book
is that it is chock full of shocking revelations - surprises?

interesting. will they now admit that "the bloggers" i.e. left leaning alternative media, which is where i get all my news, actually did SPREAD the news WHEN it was news?

i'm rolling on the floor with you if the fucking cynical whores of the msm think i'm buying for a second that any of the "news" revealed in scotty's book is actually "news" to them. not when i've known it since forever it seems, and i'm just an everyday person. if they want me to believe that they'll have to actually break down and admit that they have had it WRONG for lo all these many, many years.

i end up listening to oliely today cause my radio at work
only picks up am stations and he's saying nothing new is in this book. Like Iraq, well everyone was wrong, katrina, accidentally mishandled, the rest, well we've heard it all before and the pretzeldent is leaving with a 30 per cent approval rating so he served his time in hell. And I threw the fucking radio against the wall and will never, ever, in my lifetime forgive that son of a bitch for killing over 4000 troops, and untold numbers of civilians, or for raping our democracy with his daddys' supreme court appointment. Gaud, my blood pressure just went up thinking about today.

Peace, why can't we have it?

28. I have a somewhat different take on this than many here
Edited on Wed May-28-08 06:09 PM by Oak2004
I think the (justifiable) anger here at Republicans in general and the administration in particular blinds some people to the humanity of Republicans.

Now the leadership is, without a doubt, a bunch of sociopaths, whose only claim to "humanity" might be the particulars of their DNA. And a large segment of the staff are ideological fanatics who may or may not have remnants of a conscience, but whatever remnants they do have are buried under their fanaticism.

But there is a third type of Republican out there. Republican culture puts a great emphasis on loyalty (something you don't see in Democratic culture). Scott McClellan's family has ties to the Bush family going back generations. Scott seems to me to be someone who grew up in a Republican "bubble", someone who has a conscience, who isn't an ideologue, but who felt the family and cultural burden of loyalty, and someone who was, frankly, naive.

I think for quite some time he was caught in the conflict between the value of loyalty and the value of honesty. That, I think, was why he looked like such a terrible liar. Sociopaths are master liars. People with consciences who are torn between two values are especially awful liars.

Now I don't think he's telling all the truth, because I don't think he himself has broken loose enough to see all the truth. But I welcome his first steps into the light. You know -- and he has to know -- that he is going to be trashed up down and sideways by the Right. To do this, knowing that he's going to be a punching bag, knowing he's going to be seen as a traitor even by members of his own family, says a lot about his character.
