I settled for failed presidency, but that hardly covers it.

12. That number supports the mainstream, since he has to be close to a 20% approval rating, by now...
But I'd like to know who the 20% are, mainly folks who just came out of long comas or space aliens who just landed on Earth, is my guess...

25. Not all authoritarian followers will stay loyal to the bush/cheney
junta. The number could get into the teens, but I think we have enough people on our side to make sure the junta pays for their crimes.

26. We have to, by now. Even the MSM now criticizes Bush*, which I never thought I would see...
Paying for their crimes is another matter, because we have to depend on Congress to take action...:-(

29. Well, first we need a new AG, and Fitzgerald has got to be frustrated by now.
Ramsey Clark has been calling for impeachment since before I joined DU, which was more than five years ago, and what about Conyers and Wexler? Nothing's happened and BFEE has purchased land in South America... :-(

31. Impeachment would be filibustered in the Senate. What we need to do is
start the impeachment process so he can't pull any pardons and such before he is drummed out in Jan.

32. Well, we need to start it now. It does take awhile and you know that he'll pull pardons, as he did
for Scooter. And we can only hope that we regain a sizable majority. It sure seems inevitable,to me, but then I thought Kerry would win in a landslide after those first awful four years of Bush*... x(

33. Now that it is the political season, there will be a lot of reluctance to
get into impeachment. Anyway, I wouldn't want cheney as president, even for one minute.

37. But then he or she would have to be confirmed by the Senate,
not as if I have a lot of hope in that, at least right now. *sigh* But we stand to have a larger majority after the next election... :-)

And they insist on appearing together during hearings. How about a two-for-one? :D

Who could it be, really?

I think some of it is the wealthy with no integrity.

That would be a few percentage marks. What's the rest?

It's a bizarre figure isn't it? :)

23. I've thought about it, too, because it's so difficult to comprehend.
I'm thinking that it's comprised of two groups, those like my mother, who listens to and believes O'Reilly *sigh*, and those who just don't pay attention, but think they are being "patriotic" by continuing to support this failed administration. :eyes:

My Dad's cousin is kind of one of that unaware group. She asked me, because her husband wanted to know, when exactly Bush* took office and how much longer that we had to put up with him... :-(

And, yes, it's very bizarre. It's pretty difficult to avoid the news, but some people manage to...:hi:

34. Don't kid yourself. The Republicans may hate Bush more than we do.
It wasn't us he made fools of in the eyes of the ENTIRE WORLD. I think they are snapping out of the kool aid induced haze and realizing they have a hell of a lot of Crow to eat and if they don't eat it. They will be force fed all that crow.

Another few points and we're into high-sucrose-corn-syrup-and-feathering time. (Previously known as "tar-and-feathering," but oil is SO damned high these days, we have to make accomodations...)

(Edit: One of the few two-letter words here, and I managed to misspell it. Figures.)
