They have been consistantly WRONG about EVERYTHING from Iraq to the War on Terror and to even the threat of the Soviet Union in the 70s.

WHY ON EARTH DO THEY KEEP ON BEING INVITED TO SPEECHES, TV, CONFERENCES, OP-EDS, ETC ETC????????????????

Kristol, Wolfowitz, Rummy, Cheney, Feith and the rest of them have been consistantly WRONG.

Yet they are still on the TV everywhere now spouting off lies and propaganda about Iran!!!

They have the gall to suggest that Obama doesnt know anything about the middle east when THEIR POLICIES HAVE FUCKED IT UP SO ROYALLY!!!!

I am so fucking sick of these liars.

What will it take to SHUT THEM THE HELL UP?!?!?!

21. Hey, there's ol Ashcroft!
Personal favorite neo-con moment(s):

Let the Mighty Eagle Soar!

Sigh. Good times.

(To answer the OP's question, actual punishment for their actions would be helpful. Not holding my breath, though.)

2. dismantle the conservative think tanks
AEI, Heritage, etc. lend scholarly credence to Feith, Wolfowitz et al. given their bottomless funding, they're not going away anytime soon.

another option would be to restore the fairness doctrine.

5. IMPEACHMENT will shut them up.
The Democrats need to grow a pair of balls and reveal the dirty deeds, crimes, cronyism, corruption, etc., of the neocons. Air the dirty laundry in public for ALL to see. ALL OF IT. Leave nothing out. Yes, a few Dems will go down as well once everything is exposed.

The only way to stop it once and for all is to expose every disgusting detail to the public, prosecute and imprison EVERYONE.

Once ALL AMERICANS see first hand how we've been lied to, taken advantage of, and to what degree both of those have been done, the public outcry will be so loud no one will escape it.

Perhaps then Americans will realize what we've given up, and then who knows we might even demand accountability and transparency from our elected officials. And, most of us might even get out and vote, for a change.

9. Lot's of hearings in unbiased courts of law.
Edited on Mon Jun-02-08 03:01 PM by Cleita
Congress should be investigating them as set out in the Constitution but our wimpy leadership isn't letting Conyer, Waxman and others do their job, so it will be up to prosecutors to bring investigations to the courts as set out by Vincent Bugliosi. Once we wring the truth out of them under oath, you will see the Republican Party become as popular as the Nazi Party in post war Germany. Those who do not end up in prison will have to go back under the rocks they came out from.

17. The leading edge is already in place
so I trust we will see it....

The first attempts to file in other countries are just the beginning

These folks better not travel... and with enough pressure we will have to tun them over

Best case, we will have impeachment and conviction after they leave, and a turn over to the authorities.

10. They are powerful because they are wealthy. They own the media and thus the message.
Americans will not wake up to the truth because not enough people have been hurt (or even inconvenienced) by their actions. The bad things happen to other people (who probably deserve it anyway in their "minds").

If people think that $4 or $5 gas will light the fuse, they are mistaken. We complained at $1.00 and $2.00 and $3.00 too.

As with Vietnam, only many thousands of dead children coming back to America will shake up the population enough to end the war. But even that will not cause a seismic shift in the politics and values of this country.

Not until they are totally removed from the scene will their influence end. And they will fight with everything they have to hold on to power.

18. Fuel will actually be part of it, but NOT at 4 bucks
we will need six to seven dollars a gallon

That will hurt ENOUGH people.

Me... making changes already

And troops, I hate to say this, but most muricans don't care since there is no actual threat to them (read draft), though after we attack Iran that may come back.

But if there is no draft, most muricans don't care about the troops... they volunteered you see... so I got mine

Healthcare will be part of the formula as well as the inevitable end of the age of oil

It will get ugly and people will (already are) get touched in personal ways... but that is just starting

25. Things have to get bad enough for enough people, we're not there yet.
Major recession would help, but there will still be those who vote for them out of fear that "it might've been worse". Famine, disease, war, death. Those 4 horsemen have to be riding and no, we're not there yet.

Hopefully the next administration will have a DOJ that gets to the bottom of it.

America needs to put Neoconservatism in the same level of disgrace that Europe did with Fascism and Nazism. An evil ideology that is all about power and death.
