We're all proud of Barack Obama. Last night was jubilant but there are many, today, who are still hard at work to make sure he remains our nominee. If you go to Demconwatch right now you'll see that the SD's are still rolling in for Obama. 19 so far, today.

He already has the votes he needs. Why are the SD's making their positions known in such numbers?

Because continuing to publicly declare their support for him is insurance against an attack to replace him as nominee before or during the Democratic Convention.

It's a very smart move on their part and I applaud their resolve.

FYI: Mondale was the first or second one this morning, switching from Clinton to Obama.

4. My opinion is that they want to pull the Dem party back together, work on defeating McCain
Pressure Sen Clinton to ask her supporters to work for the party, throw her support to Obama, and thus have more of a chance of defeating McCain.

6. I think you're counting Clinton's in there. 20 for Obama. still good.
But Al Gore, Harry Reid, Biden, many others have not yet endorsed anyone.
