my boss has told me in horror that Obama is a Muslim, and refuses to listen to reason. I'm trying to steer him to Bob Barr in the election. If that doesn't work--hey, he's got a kid who is just about draft age. A real jock who is being scouted by the major leagues. If I have a chance, I'm going to ask him if he's willing to have his son drafted not by baseball but by Uncle Sam, because that is what will happen if McCain gets the nod.

2. I know what you speak of...

My roommate is an evangelical. He's a good and intelligent guy, but he doesn't vet his e-mail.

He thinks he's ahead of the curve. He believes that Obama is the terrorist's Manchurian candidate.

How can I reason with someone so fixated?
