2. DoD was not doing improvements because they knew the hospital would be closed
They would keep the Navy's Bethesda Medical Center.

5. Would some of Walter-Reed have been kept open?
In that case, the outpatient housing should have been upgraded.

6. The combined center would be moved to the Bethesda campus,
so none of the WR buildings will be used, no. However, that isn't any excuse. If there are going to be patients in buildings, than the buildings should be up to par.

10. Pre WW2 buildings
In my opinion, the troops are just a prop for bush and the republ'ans to hide behind. Somebody just pulled their prop away.

9. I said it another thread and I'll say it here....
they have been decommissioning the F-15 squadrons for the last several years-Did they make the pilots fly them with vermin in the cockpits and holes thru the wings??? Well then....
