1. I won't forget

It was the last day of school-6th grade. A life-time ago and an America I no longer remember and an America that no longer exists. As terrible as 1968 was, I believe that 2008 is actually worse. In 1968 people CARED about problems/crises and worked toward solutions-now it's finger-pointing and victimization from both sides (mostly from the right though).
Thanks Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan-your (cough cough) legacies are in full flower-and what tragic consequences for all of us.

RIP Bobby Kennedy.

2. This is why I have become an Obamaniac...

I see in him the same force for positive change that RFK brought - I have often said in conversations that I find Obama more RFK than JFK.
