I used to have a plastic bin-full of e-mails to wingnut media scoundrels, complaining about their various anti-Dem outrages, dating back to the FAKE impeachment and Campaign 2000. Not that anybody, such as the addressees, would notice, judging from the continuing wingnut media anti-Dem outrages.
So I was looking for a bumper sticker that would specifically use "DemocratIC" instead of "DemoCRAT" and was surprised to find the vast majority using the latter, LUNTZ version. When I finally found one, I sent that outfit an e-mail, and here is the exchange:

As you probably know, Rethug pollster Frank LUNTZ coined the derrogatory "DemoCRAT party" (as opposed to DemocratIC). I will be choosing your bumper sticker, "Had enough? Vote Democratic," but in scanning your website and many others, I found that the vast majority of items used DemoCRAT instead of DemocratIC. I realize that DemoCRAT has its proper usage in the proper places, but think that many of the instances can be modified for the "IC" form. Anyway, this is to let you know what determined my choice among your products.

Thanks for writing. Yeah, we will NEVER use the phrase "Democrat Party," and we've actually written about that phrase, so we definitely agree with you there. But it is OK to say, "I am a Democrat" and so on. Glad to know you found something you like! I'll consider what you've said and take a second look at our stuff. Best,
