Who will be his front line countering the lies and spin?

Who will he trust to knock some heads Sunday show after Sunday show? Day after day?

Who will be out there pushing McCain's buttons and tripping his triggerpoints?

3. Senator Biden
He's been doing it for several weeks now. I don't see him stopping now.

If anything....I can see him turning it up!!!

6. We'll have to airdrop food around Washington to keep Biden from starving to death...
or else he'd just stand in front of the TV cameras and talk and talk and talk until he wasted away.

He makes Pat Buchanan look agoraphobic.

8. He sharpened up a lot the past two years preparing for his own run. His chops are down
and when his chops are down he's pretty damn good.

12. Well, that's true. But, when he stays sharp he can out talk most anyone.
And that's fine with me. Just four years ago most of our guys wouldn't GET the time. Lieberman never seemed to have a problem getting airtime, though.

4. Biden and Kerry, for sure.
Biden is determined and Kerry has a few bones to chew. Neither will back down from this cabal.

19. I don't think Webb knows McCain as well as Kerry does. Ever read McCain's book from before
Edited on Sat Jun-07-08 11:44 AM by blm
he became Bush's love slave?

He does have stability problems and he said that he broke down a number of times during the Vietnam reconciliation duties he and Kerry led, and said that without Kerry it never would have happened and that Kerry kept him from going off the deep end over it.

But this is a serious battle for the WH and if Kerry knows all McCain's weaknesses and triggerpoints then I expect he will do his best to trip them.

Besides, Webb is probably on VP short list, so he won't be doing spokespeople duty at this point.

5. Durbin, Kerry, Casey, McCaskill, all those fine folks who've supported
him vocally. And now, even former Clinton supporters like Rangel will come to his defense.

7. I'd like to think that DUers will stop sniping and start watching Obama's back as of now.
That would surely help.
