Unionize!
I just realized that one of the best ways to begin to solve the healthcare crisis is to get the patients and the nurses and doctors (the actual human nurses and doctors, not the ANA and the AMA) to join together in the biggest fucking healthcare utilizers union.

I have no details, merely an aha! moment.

Anyone want to build upon this?

2. The federal gov't could throw people a bone by repealing the Taft-Hartley Act.
From the Taft-Hartley Act follows the "right-to-work" laws passed in 22 states. They make it harder for labor unions by intentionally creating a free-rider problem.
