2. It'll take a lot more to overcome the libertarians
I don't like libertarians ('cept for Noam). They really just want to keep all their capitalist money and not share it with their communities. They're not at all concerned about freedoms only their own freedom to make and hoard $$$$$

3. I can't think of a more futile waste of time...
Edited on Mon Jun-09-08 08:05 AM by Richardo
1) What could that possibly accomplish? And
2) Who gives a crap what Libertarians think? As long as they get behind Bob Barr I don't care what they think.

4. I certainly have better things to do.
I don't see what that would accomplish.

6. I couldn't agree more. Why would anyone here care about libertarians?
I've never seen one vote for anyone's interest but their own.

7. That's true, they don't
They're very self-centered. A lot of them are meanspirited too, and do things like make jokes about Down's Syndrome or handicapped people.

8. Question - What Impact did Ross Perot and Ralph Nadar have on the election? And...
what argument was advanced to their supporters to not vote for them?

If you believe that the Libertarian Party hurts the Republicans and that the argument the Republicans make to their supporters is that a vote for the Libertarians is a vote for the Democrats...

What would you rather have the Libertarians believe... that their supporters are more conservative or liberal leaning?

11. On-line polls are less than meaningless and everyone knows it
Edited on Mon Jun-09-08 08:58 AM by Richardo
If the Libertarian poll came out "McCain is worse for the country" everyone would attribute it to liberal spamming and go on their merry way.

5. This is a good thing. If 35% of the libs switch to voting for McCain, it helps.
