Last fall, when Andrew Hester walked into the South Side two-flat he just rented, he noticed contractors working there had "sad-looking faces." He thought maybe they had a disagreement or weren't happy about doing overtime.

"It didn't click," he says.

1. just happened to my DIL in Ocala, Fl.
She rented a house about a year ago..4 bedroom in great neighborhood...close to work, etc. My granddaughter and her two young children also lived in the house. About a month ago, the sheriff came to the door and gave her the notice to evacuate since the owners were in forclosure. She, fortunately found a new place, but is letting her last months rent go because she does not believe she will get back the security deposit...and needs the money for the new deposit on the new place. Either way, it is costly and disturbing to be so uprooted without any warning that it was about to happen.
