1. Nah, I'll always give it what I always call it.
A piece of overpriced, gas guzzling piece of shit.

BTW, you forgot to convert the H to the B on the H2 metal.

11. I still can't believe I actually SAW somone DRIVING his Hummer the other day.
I thought for sure that the Hummer freaks would have to park those things this month. For good. But no, no, apparently there is no energy crisis in HummerLand.

25. Most sports cars get much better fuel milage than a hummer.
Edited on Tue Jun-10-08 09:30 PM by CRF450
Or most SUV's and trucks in general, and not any worse than any fullsize car.

27. What's the female equivalent to compensate for a loose vagina?
Volvos (notice how similar it is to 'vulva')? Subarus (sounds kind of like uterus)? We men are curious

18. there's an all Hummer dealer here
I doubt they'll be in business much longer unless they change their inventory. Last week I saw someone driving their new H2 and chatting on their cell phone. A 2 time loser! People like that are the boorish freeper types who get off from being openly scornful to the common good.

So many Hummers, so few RPGs.

30. Shhh were supposed to get all factual up in here.
BTW while your at it all those safety Nazis with rear facing backseat only child seats till they hit puberty types in no way contributed to forcing Americans that actual procreate in buying all those suv's and minivans just to set the record straight and all. (Plus all those extra safety features in no way made cars heavier or less fuel efficient.)

34. As bad as all of those are, few get 8 mpg average
Edited on Tue Jun-10-08 11:30 PM by NickB79
Which is the mileage that my friend's father gets from his Hummer H2.

Apparently, that's not the worst some have reported: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummer_H2#Fuel_economy

"Actual owners have reported 17 mpg highway and 13 mpg in the city with a 15 mpg average. Comparable if not better than other large vehicles. Motortrend observed 12 mpg. <4> Car and Driver observed 10 mpg. <5> A reviewer at about.com got 8.6 mpg. <6> Edmunds got 9.2 mpg.<7> Four Wheeler magazine observed 10.8 mpg in their final long term report of an H2 SUT (pickup). Their worst tank was 7.2 mpg and best tank was 15.3 mpg. <8> Consumer Guide observed 10.7 mpg, even with mostly highway driving. <9> Automobile Magazine averaged less than 10 mpg. <10> US News observed 9.5 mpg according to its trip computer. <11> Cars.com observed 11.4 mpg according to its trip computer in mostly highway driving. Most vehicles (between 90% and 98%) get higher MPG when driving on the highway, due to reduced acceleration and braking (which burns more gasoline); hybrid cars are an exception to this rule. Car and Driver notes that the 2008 H2 is more efficient than previous models. mpg.<12>"

All the vehicles you listed do have my scorn, but the Hummer is at the top of my scorn-list.
