Coulter: Edwards' Campaign Manager 'Fronting for Arab Terrorists'

NEW YORK Ann Coulter, fresh from implying that John Edwards is a "faggot," now has a statement on her Web site saying Edwards campaign manager David Bonior "is fronting for Arab terrorists."

Coulter made the homophobic slur about Edwards, a Democratic presidential candidate married to a woman, during a Friday speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Soon after, Bonior announced he was sending out a fund-raising letter seeking "Coulter Cash" to "show every would-be Republican mouthpiece that their bigoted attacks will not intimidate this campaign."

A copy of Bonior's letter was posted on Coulter's Web site, with this note underneath: "It's always good to divert Bonior from his principal pastime which is fronting for Arab terrorists."

Bonior was elected to Congress half a dozen times in Michigan, and served in Vietnam.

She really is a trrible waste of time and energy and no one who takes her seriously is ever going to be on our side anyway. Edwards is the antithesis to Coulter .... she cannot hurt John Edwards with anything she can make up, but she sure can give Edwards coverage and exposure.

hoping a black man with a Muslim name or a "liberal, ball busting" woman will get the nod as the democratic nominee for president...these kind of labels the republican feel they can easily exploit...Not so easily with Edwards, a seasoned, excellent politician, that's why they are trying to trash his character early, take him out of the race as early as possible, make Edwards an insignificant factor...like they did with Howard Dean in 2004...The republicans are doing all they can to make Hillary the nominee and watchers of television news, are ALL for Hillary, they don't see themselves as manipulated, yet they watch television news and think they are making up their own minds...If you don't think the massive right-wing corporate controlled media, the same media that controls most all media in this country doesn't try to sway which candidate will be the democratic nominee then how could you possibly call yourself aware?

The mean, arrogant, vindictive Coulter is always happy to do the necessary republican dirty work and that means keep Edwards from ever being the front runner or the nominee, and they will be successful, it'll be Hillary!

Its the 29 percenters - the hardcore delusional ones who would march off a cliff if told to do so by Bush - who eat this stuff up. When she talks nonsense like this she makes it crystal clear to the MAJORITY of Americans that she has nothing of substance to add to the political debate. She's a one-trick pony capable only of name-calling and slurs to make a point. The hard-core 29 percenters respond to this but most Americans don't. I doubt very much that her antics gain her any additional support beyond what she has already. She's preaching to her choir of sick and twisted wingers.

It would be nice if the real news channels would stop giving her a platform from she can spew her hate though (Faux News will never stop booking her - Coulter and Faux are like peas and carrots). Why should bigotry and hate be given a national platform? It wouldn't surprise me if one day one of her whacko fans takes a shot at a liberal due to her influence. When she made the comment about Edwards she knew what she was doing; too bad CNN played into hands by booking her to spew more bile on Zahn's show.

Let the never ending other right-wing fucks continue to water it, fertilize, make it, help it grow bigger each month, anything, but trash Edwards to smithereens ...Hillary needs to be the nominee!

There is nothing about her argument that any other wingnuts could pick up and run with. There's no substance to this.

say, Limbaugh to make up one of his lies, "well there have been rumors that Edwards has frequented gay night clubs" he may even have some "eye witnesses" or that Edwards has a gay agenda, when it comes to same sex marriages... and then, the republican media machine right down the line, Hannity and the rest will be quoting the same Limbaugh & "eye witnesses" lies as truth....Well, "it's been reported" and it becomes almost truth as people debate the made up lie! It works...but someone needs to plant the seed and Coulter loves doing it.

Not that the issue or Coulter's statement itself is any big deal...it's all about character assassination...you're looking far to much into Coulters actual words, she knew very well what she was doing and what she needed to accomplish for her party, that's the intent..it's to just put the lie out there let people talk about it, put the idea in some people's heads...let other right-wing fucks push it in other directions until its talked about often enough, that it creates a doubt...look how the swift boat people do it...all lies but its effective...look how the right-wing just took apart Howard Deans candidacy after a big win...they couldn't have this liberal who speaks his mind going after their man Bush...he would of eaten him alive....

If you don't see how the seed works then you'll never believe they have a much bigger objective.

YET Ann gets all the airtime she needs to plant the idea that it is Dems who support terrorists. Oh how it should be illegal for Ann to lie for the BFEE. The Truth will one day rear its ugly head (all truth does over time) and if Ann is still alive, will pay grievously for her political indiscretions.
