The history of the current President of the United States, George W. Bush, is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Representatives and Senators. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by the President to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of their election, and of their duties under the Constitution. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations. With few exceptions, They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, hold them, by their words, actions, silence, and inactions, complicit in these abuses of power.
We, therefore, the People of the United States of America, declare, That all political connection between us and the President of the United States, George W. Bush, and those others complicit in his high crimes and misdemeanors, ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent Citizens, we have full Power to Impeach, Vote, exert Pressure on Corporations, hold a General Strike, Demonstrate, hold Trials for War Crimes, and to do all other Acts and Things which We the People may of right do in order to remove from office and punish these criminals.
