3. God's judgement against Wesboro Baptist Church!
Hey, I figure that if Disneyland's Gay Days or New Orlean's Southern Decadence are worth hurricanes, then certainly WBC is worth a tornado or two. Or three or four, if we're lucky.

If you want them to suffer, then go fuck yourself.

8. A lot of good people lived in New Orleans, too
That didn't prevent the Talibangelicals like Pat Robertson or the fringe extremist nutters like Phelch from proclaiming that Katrina was God's judgement against sin. I say: if it is sauce for the goose then it is sauce for the gander, too.

14. But according to the poster above she deserves to die in a tornado
because of remarks made by people who have probably never even set foot in Topeka.

9. 9 tornadoes today so far, 58 yesterday!
my God, I can't believe it. The folks on Weather Channel can't either.
NOAA's Severe Weather/Storm reports page is here so you can check back on other days to see what has happened in this area. There were 70+ tornadoes in the same areas just a few days ago!! I wouldn't wish this weather on anybody and have learned the hard way that the one time I did, it came back and hit me square in my own backyard.
I think they call that instant Karma?

Here's yesterday's weather graph which includes large hail, severe winds:

19. is it coming your way?
We have no sat at the moment. Using my blackberry to find out what I can. It looks very dark again and the trees are doing a low hula! We are going to be flooded out again.

Be safe. This is a very nasty storm and I love storms.

27. It was very dark
but now it is light and the darkness has moved on to the East. That was a hairy storm but aren't they all? Very electric and loud. I hope you all are OK down there.

It was so humid that this morning at 70 degrees I was soaking wet unloading hay. It should have been nice but wow, it was hard to breathe.

28. I have a lot of trees
thankfully. Big old trees that you hate to lose but I have lots of them that I have kept to for several small woods on the place. I don't know yet how badly they suffered, there is a river running between me and them that does not belong there! It will go down by tomorrow morning. Weeeeee! I love storms.

26. Photo taken from 2 miles NE
looking SW. This is what came directly over our house. Was reported to ?touchdown? at the intersection 1/4 mile from our house. I don't see any indication from here that it actually touched down but then I have not been out yet.

Looks like we are in the clear now. We heard that sucker as it went over. Scary. We were lucky. Much flooding around here and up in Topeka. If anyone is interested in pictures I took as it was coming in let me know. I have not looked at them yet and they were from the camera in my phone so they might be crappy but I stayed on top of the house until it got too windy.

I do this because I love the storms. I did not take this. It was taken a couple of blocks from my house. They are just such amazing things but I fear I am only entertaining myself here. Last one, I promise.

PROUD! Let us know when you are out of danger!
