They changed the page after 235,000 people signed the Cheney petition.

It gives the false impression that 235,000 people ptitioned for Bush impeachment investigations. That is a LIE!!

Do you want a Bush hearings petition? I sure do.

I also want my name removed from the Cheney petition unless the deception is corrected!

Is this just a scheme to raise money?

I don't see a problem with that... Wexler's one of the good guys... He's always speaking up against these guys. I interviewed him about electronic voting machines; he's been an advocate against the electronic voting machines.

They're both complicit. Is it more important to only investigate Cheney? Is it possible that adding Bush to the mix will get more people signing the petition? I understand your point, but I say pick your battles. Wexler's one of the good guys. He's a little haphazard at times, but he fights for the right things.

He isn't. If he was, he would have been "uncloaked" long ago. In the 10 years that he's been my Representative, I haven't agreed with him on every issue, but on every issue, he typifies an honest, truly representative approach to the issue. He actually REPRESENTS his constituents.

That's pretty handy. Maybe one of the web designers just changed the title? Maybe something else has happened that was a MISTAKE? Maybe someone should let them know that a mistake has been made rather than post this inflammatory bullshit.

A lie is a DELIBERATE attempt to deceive. You have no proof that this was DELIBERATE on Rep. Robert Wexler's part.

Oh, and in the 10 years that I have been a constituent of Wexler, I've always thought he was honest and fair, so I take offense to you trying to paint the one person who has tried to do away with Black Box voting, one of the few that has tried to impeach this administrations for their abuses of power, and the ONLY one of my representatives (neither of my Senators is worth a shit) who ever even listens to me as a LIAR... They added "and Bush" to a survey that was originally about Cheney. That needs to be rectified, but you have no cause to assassinate the character of a person because of something so minor. Wexler didn't lie. Someone added "and Bush" to a survey. As I said before (and you didn't respond to) a LIE is a DELIBERATE attempt to deceive, which you have no proof Wexler has done.

What EXACTLY is your reason for doing this, then? What EXACTLY do you hope to accomplish? Because it seems to me that this is just an attempt to discredit Wexler and all of the good work he has done.

So there you have it. Rep, Wexeler is not trying to deceive anyone - nowhere does it say 230,000 voted for Cheney AND bush's impeachment. Apparently, they want to add Bush to the list, but have not yet finished redesigning the webpage and the petition.

Why jump the gun and assume a malignant intent without having all the facts?

There's only one person getting the money from the website, Wexler!

Hence, there's only one person to hold to account, Wexler!

I constantly harp on progressives that feel lying for the greater good is okay. I just don't think thats the case here.
