CNN upcoming: "The drawling Dems!"

===

OK after 7 years of Bush and his phony cowboy-speak with nary a word, I am officially dumbstruck by the American media.

2. A person's accent usually changes when you're talking to southerners
I know mine does. I start sounding like my grandmother who comes from Georgia. I was born and raised in the North but a southern accent comes easily to me when I'm on the phone with someone from Alabama or Georgia. It's like taking a cue from the other person.

7. I'm from rural southeastern ohio
but i currently go to school in Columbus. It's amazing how fast my voice pattern changes when I go home over a break (and there is a surprising amount of difference, considering the two places are 40 minutes apart)

After what happened to their dear Repiglicans last year,
we can expect the propaganda to be cranked up to new levels,
far beyond anything we have seen before.

19. Too bad Ahnold Schwanzewagger isn't running (or can't run)
I would have enjoyed hearing his version of an southern Austrian drawl, ya'll.

But it can't get funnier than George Bush, who usually sounds like an East Texas pig farmer but when he appears before his good ole boy audiences starts sounding like he's just had sex with his sister, a swig o' moonshine, and a fine possum dinner.
