Rocco's wearing a sweater that covers his belt buckle. Was he told to keep it covered?
It's the US Open playoff on ESPN.

Yesterday, Rocco's huge "peace sign" belt buckle was clearly visible all day. In threads here on DU, I learned that Americans on the PGA tour were largely gung-ho Bush supporters.

Here's hoping the California sun warms Rocco to the point that the sweater goes.

It sounds like he's being tongue-in-cheek, but it might explain it:

No more peace sign today, Mediate promised. He needs to be tougher. He might break out his Metallica buckle.
