Just a warning, if I am around when GW dies....
I plan on taking a trip to his grave and literally dancing on it. And, if the spirit moves me, I may leave a little deposit.

It's the least I can do for the past seven years...

1. I can't be glad that someone is dead. I was going to say that I
can be glad that someone can do no more damage, but unfortunately sometimes a person's image lives on and is used to continue the damage.

I don't believe in the death penalty. Not for the child molester, not for Bush.

7. Normally I feel the same way...
but I am making an exception for GW. The damage -- both in the macro and micro has been too great. The day of the Iraqi invasion was the single worst day of my life -- I knew what we were doing, I knew it was based on lies, and I knew a whole lot of very innocent people were being killed, mained, and traumatized because of those lies. I thought I would go mad that day with the pain of knowledge. I want 5 minutes of blessed relief.

I am a big fan of the "Animal House" school of pointless gestures. :)

I remember that day vividly

I knew everything just as you did, I was so angry

Plus my baby brother was there, so I was terrified too

I think I might go for some dancin'

34. I seriously thought I was going to stroke out...
I was so furious. Between the rage and the tears, that was one bad day. For folks like you and the Iraqis, it must've been something else altogether -- my "bad day" x1000. :(

18. That's going to be a REALLY long line.
You'll find me at the end of it. I'm normally a pretty mellow person, not given to speaking ill of the departed, but when someone's done as much damage as Bu$h, I'll break out the root-beer floats and do a happy dance at his wake.

with a loyalty oath you will have to sign and then be escorted by secret service and/or a minister to the site.

8. Got enough money to handle the fare to Paraguay?

He knows he's the most hated SOB in the USA, and rightfully so. So I'd guess he probably will request to be buried on his estate in Paraguay behind several fences and with a regular patrol by Blackwater guards. I would imagine somehow BushCo fenagled a perpetual contract at the taxpayers' expense with Blackwater for just this type of work.

Edited on Mon Jun-16-08 01:58 PM by LeftishBrit
Even when she's dead, she'll probably jump out of her grave at intervals and cut some vital service.

As I've said elsewhere, iron takes a long time to rust, especially when it's so careful to avoid contact with anything Wet!

And her successors make sure that her legacy lingers on. To adapt, bitterly, the old song about Joe Hill:

"From Major down to Blair and Brown;
From London to D.C.,
Where governments still crush the poor,
You'll there find Maggie T!"

31. Like GHWB's gravesite, I bet there'll be a tall steel fence about
Dumbya's grave with a security camera. The best you might be able to hope for is to use a water blaster water gun toy to shoot piss on it from ten feet. Or maybe you could lob turds over the fence onto it.

I've seen the future gravesite for Poppy. His daughter Robin is buried there. It's "secured" -- sort of.
