Big Media - What The Democrats Face in November - Handy Chart
I found this handy chart that just underscores how pervasive Big Media is, and why the MSM will eventually stop at nothing to ensure that the GOP prevails in October unless the Democrats are ready to work twice as hard as they have in the past. The issue is simple. The President gets to appoint the FCC's commissioners. If McCain wins, then there is nothing that will stop further consolidations as the MSM continues to drown out independent voices in the media. It is no accident that News Corp/Fox and Disney/ABC are so biased against the Democrats. They want to control the composition of the FCC.

3. Obama In His Book Audacity of Hope Defended Hillary . . .
He noted that when John McCain voted against the GOP, he was called a "maverick." However, when Hillary voted out of sync with other Democrats, she was called "calculating" by the MSM.

2. You could make a much simpler text chart: 99.99999% is owned by 5 companies
AOL/TimeWarner, NewsCorp, ABC/Disney, Viacom, Bertlesmann

4. WE have to face it, too! Also, another media chart.
Regardless of the president in power, the people are in trouble given the concentration of media ownership.

Hopefully, Obama will work with congress to dismantle these.

And here's another good chart from "the Nation":
