Yahoo! uses picture of Osama bin Laden in news article about Obama.
Is this the latest trend in MSM Obama bashing or just another case of irresponsibly careless "journalism"?

30. Gee, thanks. I guess you think a lot of people who see Osama and Obama on the same screen
are too dumb to grasp the difference? (You might be right)

6. I studied the page carefully..
before I determined that there is absolutely no legitimate reason for the photo to be there. It's either a stupid error or a deliberate insult.

19. The M$M has a long history of deliberately hostile juxtaposition when it comes to Democrats,
and deliberately favorable to Republicans.

It might be worth considering that some people here have experience with this before spouting off like that.

4. Fire the photo editor.
Seriously—zero tolerance for this shit. There's wayyyy to much of this kind of stuff going on for it to be an accident. I think it's a concerted effort to create a subliminal connection in the minds of uneducated voters.

8. Thanks for the link I wrote to Yahoo....
What, on this page, http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080619/pl_nm/usa_politics_dc_4 relates to Osama Bin Laden, whose picture you have included along with a story about Barak Obama and John McCain and how they have decided to fund their campaigns? I'll tell you. NOTHING relates to Osama Bin Laden. On the ENTIRE page!
Are you trying to be funny? How's that working out for you? I'll tell you again, as it appears you are clueless....
IT MAKES YAHOO LOOK VERY STUPID.

**********************
Now you all can write too. Barrage them. I'm reporting them to Obama.

13. Noted for future use.
But it's definitely NOT spelled "OSAMA", which I think is what some idiot was trying to do.

20. Yeah, it is obvious what they are trying to do.
I just checked a dozen other Yahoo/Politics-Obama articles, and they all had photos of Obama.

Send an email with the Yahoo link to:

10. That was no accident.
The photo was posted by Yahoo 7 hours earlier, but 'happened to appear' in an article much later in the day, where Osama's photo was accidentally placed right below Obama's name?

16. Text at link under photo:
Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahri (L) at an unidentified location in an undated image. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama says if bin Laden is captured alive, the United States should bring him to justice but in a way that avoids turning the al Qaeda leader into a martyr.

:grr:

There needs to be a database started as a clearinghouse for these incidents against both parties. Why both parties? So they can be counted and compared to demonstrate the liberal bias, of course.

...is THIS - what I'll call THE SET-UP:

"Obama could win vote, lose election"

http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20080619/pl_politico/11182;_ylt=As1WVcVAFZXgKoK0cGhwBHwb.3QA

The lame$tream media is NO DOUBT clamoring for THAT result, and have already begun "managing expectations" for it.

Select "Properties," then look at "Alternate text."

Yahoo News screwed up in expecting people to click the photo to read the entire cutline.
