I was just watching him on Countdown and it struck me, he could take over the show and people wouldn't freak out too much.

if I saw that correctly on the MSNBC site.

I kinda have a hard time really liking Dana Milbank, remembering him on Tweety during the whole Jeff Gannon WH Press Plant scandal thing from way back, when it was exposed. Gannon gave Milbank an interview at what seemed was the height of his disgrace and getting caught. In the end, I thought Milbank just kind of snickered at the whole thing as no seeming big deal that the left blogosphere was in arms about.

I'd like to see someone with a little more evidence of serious standards and a little less club-house snark.

Maybe I'm partial because he was on in Chicago once, but he's a smart, telegenic guy who just happens to be African American. Sound like any candidates we know???
