3. I feel the same way.
Absolutely bereft and alone, now, realizing that we are no longer free and no longer a democracy. This slow descent into fascism (made possible by the Democratic Party's capitulation on nearly everything that fascist Bush ever wanted) is killing me.

4. Can you help me out?
I was watching when Schuster asked about "they". We got an interruption for a weather alert here in the state and I missed the exchange. Did you catch the wingnut's response?

8. Damn. I was sidetracked with something and just saw your post.
And now I don't recall. Maybe if you gave me more context?

11. The other male guest made a comment...
He was saying something about what "they say" and Schuster interrupted him asking who the "they" were that the wingnut was referring to. At first the guy looked confused and then we went to our weather alert. It had something to do with Obama.

14. Well you didn't miss it, he never laid out the serious allegation after Shuster interrupted him and
called him on his source, he thought better of it I guess. Snort

13. I think (if I heard correctly)
that the wingnut responded by bullshitting that he "knew people who went to law school with Obama and said that he was elitist" (can anyone confirm that's what he said?) Shuster dismissed that and said "Name names", and the wingnut sneered and said "The media doesn't have to name their sources, why should I?", but Shuster kept pressing and said something along the lines of "You just made some devestating charges that you cannot back up with one source, you cannot name one name" and the wingnut kept babbling that he didn't have to name his sources.

6. It kinda makes me question what really happened to him in Vietnam.
Seriously.

The GOP are behaving all defensively about it, and that just makes me suspicious about their motives.

17. what a traitorous thing to say
unless, of course, he was still PROUD of his country while he wasn't loving it...if that is the case then it was probably michelle obama's fault he didn't love his country.

WHATEVER

(too bad moveon agreed not to run more ads--they might have had a FIELD DAY with that quote)
