"Obama is going to win."
My six-year-old grandson just looked at me with big solemn eyes, nodding with
certainty, and assured me that Obama will win. I'm sitting in my daughter's
living room watching the morning news and he came in and sat beside me on the
couch. He pointed to the screen immediately and said, "That's Obama. He wants
to be President. Obama is going to win."

We've been having a little chat about elections and what presidents do. He wants
to vote.

Obama has made an impression on this young man.

2. He should become an on-air analyst for MSNBC
He clearly understands the dynamics of this election better than most of the people on the TV. While most of those talking heads spend their time parsing every little event or quote like chicken entrails that somehow point to how the election will conclude, the plain fact is that Obama will win because everybody knows we are screwed otherwise.

3. Someone should do a name recognition study of Obama with
little kids. My four year-old granddaughther went along with her mother when she went to vote in the primary. When they got to the polling place she said "Where is Barack Obama?" I showed her his picture on the cover of his book and she said "that's Barack Obama" right away.
