How many Democrats do we need to elect ?

Roberts & Alito are just getting started. Thomas wouldn't quit, he feels entitled for life. Scalia would onlyl quit if there were a RW President and a Republican Senate, so that leaves Kennedy to get the Court back while in the meantime defending the "Seats of the Sensible".

1. If Obama goes on to win in November, he'll likely make no fewer than 2

appointments relatively early in his first term.

If he were to sustain popularity and support and win a second term, I think the number would be 4.

Four SCOTUS appointments will shape the Court for generations. And throw in the other judicial appointments and you've got a very inviting landscape, especially compared to the dreary, authoritarian one we have now.

2. In the Senate, we need 96 new ones.

We can keep Feingold, Boxer, Sanders, and Sherrod Brown.

Fuck the rest of them.
