In fact can anyone give me an example of anything Congress has done that could resemble "Change We Can Believe In"?

1. It's nothing we can believe in. It's unconstitutional trash, and nothing more
and Obama's pathetic response is status quo politics as usual that tells me that NOTHING will be restored if he happens to beat the odds and get elected.

14. He needs to get in front of Feingold on FISA to be a leader
My Senators Casey and Specter both claim they are against immunity, but both will vote for the bill with immunty in it like last time. This is how senators are trying to be on both sides like Obama's doing now. I'm sure Hoyer passed this bill by Obama before there was a vote in the house, He will be the Democratic leader, and that was when he could have worked to change it. Now he has to fight to change it and it doesn't sound like he going to to me. We'll see.

2. Or anything our presumtive nominee has actually fought for that counted?

9. The question remains: why do millions of people continually but into the bullshit?
Never underestimate the power of denial.

10. denial
and the argument that "our guys" are better than "their guys".
while that may be true to some degree, it's getting harder to tell "our guys" from "their guys"
i realize compromise is part of politics but imho you can't compromise constitutional rights.

13. I am going to wait and see how he actually votes on this
I know that he said that he would but maybe with enough of us bitching, he'll think twice. If he does vote for it, well, then I guess he doesn't want my money.
